Topshop
Topshop is a British clothes retailer with stores in over 20 countries and online operations in some of its markets. Topshop's sales primarily come from women's clothing and fashion accessories. It is part of the Arcadia Group, which owns a number of other retail outlets including Burton, Dorothy Perkins and Miss Selfridge.

The chain was founded in 1964 as Peter Robinson's Top Shop, a young fashion brand within the Sheffield branch of the Peter Robinson Ltd ladies fashion store chain[1] (former department store chain). The first standalone Topshop store was opened in 1974.[1] In 1978, Topman was created as a spin-off brand to cater for male customers[1] and is now run as a separate chain, although some stores are co-located.
Topshop's current trends are 'Graduates', 'New Age Constalation', 'Swedish Summer' and 'Snake Valley', alongside luxury garments and designer affiliations under 'The Boutique'.
In May 2007, the British supermodel Kate Moss, designed her first collection for Topshop.[2] The appointment of Moss was announced just before the departure of CEO Jane Shepherdson.
In July 2007, British artist Stella Vine designed a limited edition fashion range exclusively for Topshop inspired by her colourful artworks. These included T-shirts,[3] vest tops, and T-shirt dresses,[4] with the labels designed in pink glitter.[5] The Guardian commented that "the fact that the range of T-shirts she has recently designed for Top Shop - emblazoned with slogans like Breaking Up With Her Boyfriend - are flying out, speaks volumes for her public support."[6] Shiatzy Chen has been approached by Topshop to produce a capsule collection of ready to wear pieces to launch in November 2010.
